RESOLUTION OF CONGRATULATIONS

ON THE CENTENNIAL OF THE BERLIN PUBLIC LIBRARY

WHEREAS, the Berlin Public Library has filled the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of the people of the Berlin community since 1903; and

WHEREAS, providing free access to the information people need in their daily lives and for an understanding of the world today is central to the preservation of democracy;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of the Winnefox Library System congratulates the Berlin Public Library on the 100^th anniversary of its establishment; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this be transmitted to the Director and Trustees of the Berlin Public Library.
