The default setting for Microsoft
Outlook is to display only the menu items and buttons you use most often.
When you first begin using Outlook the most basic commands appear, but
as you use Outlook more it adapts the menus and toolbars to fit your
habits. An item is dropped from the short version of a menu if you use
Outlook many times without using that command. If you want to expand
a menu to see the full list of options, click the arrow bar If you'd rather see all menu choices all the time, you can change Outlook's settings so you always see the full list of options. Here's how to customize Outlook to do just that:

Now that more staff at Winnefox libraries are accessing their Outlook e-mail accounts via the web, lots more people are using Internet Explorer as a web browser. If you're someone who's used to using Netscape instead, here's a way to find out some of the differences between Netscape and Internet Explorer:
In particular, one section you might find helpful is "Compare terms in Navigator and Internet Explorer: If you've used Navigator in the past, you may find that words for common actions or features are different in Internet Explorer." |
