directors must be certified by the State in order to maintain employment.
Under
state requirements, directors must accumulate 100 hours of continuing
education over a five-year period in order to maintain certification.
Evolving community needs and technology requires library staff at all
levels to be continually updating their skills in order to provide the
best service possible.
