The Library Public Relations Council (LPRC) conducts the "Share the Wealth" and "L. PeRCy" competitions each year with winners announced at the American Library Association annual conference:

• The "Share the Wealth" is a juried competition in which the LPRC looks for innovative and effective public relations/publicity pieces. The judges select 40 to 50 entries which are then assembled in packets and mailed to the entire LPRC membership.
• The "L. PeRCy" Awards honor outstanding publicity materials produced by libraries serving populations of different sizes.

The Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA) Best of Show Awards, sponsored by the LAMA Public Relations and Marketing Section Swap and Shop Committee, confers awards annually to recognize the best individual pieces of public relations materials produced by libraries in the past year.
