| Wouldn't it be great to ask a trusted expert your questions, any time of day or night? You're in luck — your local library now provides reference service over the web, as well as by phone and at the library's desk itself! Click on your local public library to get answers to your questions by e-mail or real-time chat:
As a member of the Winnefox Library System, your library offers direct e-mail reference service and real-time chat reference service. This feature is made possible by Winnefox's participation in a consortium of Wisconsin libraries, created to offer virtual reference services. Anyone with Internet access may submit questions by visiting a Winnefox Library System member web site and clicking the AskAway logo. This will take you to a web page where you may send your question by e-mail or engage in chat.
AskAway
uses QuestionPoint,
a collaborative reference service created by the Library
of Congress and the Online
Computer Library Center (OCLC). QuestionPoint helps libraries
work together to provide authoritative answers to your questions. |
